Matt Dumba

Multi-Time World Champion, 9-year NHL Player, 2016 Team Canada Gold Medalist

Matt Dumba is an NHL defenceman with the Arizona Coyotes. Dumba spent the majority of his hockey career with the Minnesota Wild and was one of their first-round draft picks in 2012.

Dumba made his NHL debut on October 5, 2013, against the Anaheim Ducks, becoming the first player of Filipino descent to play in the NHL.

Dumba made his first appearance with Canada’s national men’s team, playing in all ten games at the 2016 World Championships and winning Gold.

On June 8, 2020, Dumba joined the Hockey Diversity Alliance, an organization formed with the goal of addressing racism and intolerance in hockey.
